Default done a random gw sig :)

was bored tonight and was mucking about in photoshop, im still learning with it but i think im getting hang of al the layers etc.

used my fow warrior with the halloween helmet * HALLOWEEN SOON*

a guildie said a tech type theme wouldent suit gw so ill see how the opinions on guru are ^^

looking good but a bit dark hard to see the image you have used, lots of layers is the key . nice background brushings too .
Have you tried a brightness contrast layer above the background layers .just mess with the settings.
You find the option for a brightness conrast layer in the following piccy .

loooking good , it was a tip i learnt a while back and has come in very handy.
Try out a curves layer too set to auto (found in same place ) sometimes that gives you something quiet wacky , others quiet awful and sometimes does nothing at all .
Its another tip I use alot.

yea, this is my first attempt with brush blending and also first attempt at merging my char to the background layer, also first try with techo brush ^^, thing is i have like 19 layers..not sure if i should have that many lol ^^, my next try will be a grunge sig hope i can pull it off

19 layers is fine I sometimes have 30 or more , other times just a few . There are no hard and fast rules .

been making sigs on and off for a few years, I am no expert but have picked up lots of tips along the way . even involved in a website making sigs for fun too .

Looks pretty good, the digital/HuD brushes look bad imo.

i agree the techy brushes do not really go with the halloween theme .

atm im learning some different tricks...when i done the backgrounds, they looked kinda plain to me so i tryed sum techy crap,,what im trying to do now is do a rusty grungy effect so it has a more natural feel, save to say im having some trouble :P, but thx for all the critism and kind words, ^^ much appriecated

well i tryed a grungy dark effect, ditching the techy brushes this time



worked on a necro effect...tryed to make a soul blending into her...i think i captured it nicely
